Good theory but this hasn't occurred since the end of WW2.

You are referring back to our older days of 'speak softly but carry a big stick.'

Also, I would like to clarify that when you say 'mind your own business' this does NOT mean being isolationists. There is a huge difference between being an isolationist and being an imperialist.

Isolationists doesn't try to influence any other nation and lives by the rule of being self-sufficient.

Imperialists try to influence the rest of the world and gain profit by the affects.

I am all for a happy medium between the two just as I mentioned first off, 'speak softly but carry a big stick.'

First of all quit asking questions and then providing lengthy answers just to spout off. Second of all, I agree with Ron Paul that we should get the f out of the world's business and take care of ourselves and decriminalize drugs. However, I do believe that if there's tyranny and genocide, we should work with other nations militarily to hunt them f ers and kill em and make them hide in little holes and then yank them out and shoot em in the head. We have an obligation as humans to look after each other, but yes, our military is way too large, the same size as the next 14 militaries, so we should use alliances more to help the world.

Only if those other countries can mind their own business and not allow terrorists to set up camps and train to kill our citizens, and leave us alone.

Saddam murdered a million people, young babies included. They are still discovering mass graves that Saddam and his men filled.
What kind of people could ignore mass murder?
Certainly not the type of people I want to know.
