I really don't celebrate Hanukkah, but a member of my family is Jewish so I always give him gold (candy) coins.

You sure you celebrate Hanukkah? I thought the celebration was 8 days long? I have Jewish friends that exchange gifts every day during that period ... you don't mention that!

we light the menorah, give a little gift, then go back to what we were doing before. my family did make latkes tonight though. yum

We also eat Sufganuot (jelly donuts) and you supposed to eat foods that have oil in them (or dairy).
