Lets say that within 5 years, Israel could be the 51st state of the Union. Would you vote for this, or sign a petition in favor of this idea today? Keep in mind that this would then be part of your country, and you'd be free to travel there, just as you can travel to Hawaii now. Thank-you.

I would not think Israel becoming the 51st U.S. state would be a very good idea. With its long history & its own customs it would not fit to be a U.S. state.
I have nothing against Israel its God's chosen country for his chosen people but becoming part of this country would not be a very good idea.

Are you out of your mind? Israel is a sovereign nation and the whole idea from the first was that. They are our allies and usually do a great job on that. As well as defending themselves. Why would we want to have them as a state though and then be tied down to defending it against every Muslim country and extremist? They do fine on their own and we have enough problems lately.

I'm in favor of Puerto Rico becoming the 51st state, rather than Israel.
If we made Israel a state, we'd have to deal with our citizens being bombed daily, kidnapped because they're Jewish, and things of this nature.
