Lol... two-part answer:

In a public restroom: It can be gross to pick up the toilet seat, so if the seat's down, you just go and hope that you don't hit the seat.

At someone's house: Picking up the toilet seat typically solves the problem, but it just doesn't always come out in a straight stream.... especially if you go when you're tired in the middle of the night!

My husband is a one in a million I think, he is the only man that I know of that actually either hits the hole or cleans up after himself. I live with three boys and he has them well trained, none of them leave messes. I am so proud, I do however make it a habit to check every time before I sit.

haha..cause we're too lazy to actually lift up the seat, and you'll find out that not all boys have perfect aim, especially when they are in a rush
