In my personal and professional opinion, NO. In a plane there are so many different germs that everyone, including the babu is exposed to over a long periond of time. Just think about it this way, what happens if on that same plane there is someone who has a fever and a virus, if your baby gets it and gets a fever about 100.5 your baby has to be admitted to the hospital to test for a bacterial infection. My best advice for you would be to stay home with your baby until the child is at least 2 months of age or older, I would not take the chance of her getting sick.

If your daughter is current on her immunizations and doesn't have a cold at the time you plan to travel she should travel just fine. We flew from California to London England when my son was 7 weeks old. Our doctor said it was fine.
When you take off and land, you might want to nurse or give her a bottle or pacifier, something to suck on, which will help her ears clear from the change in air pressure.
Have a great trip!

If the pedatrician says ok, be prepared to give her a bottle on take-off and landing. It will help the decompression in those little ears not be so painful, or if she'll take a pacifier that will work, too.
