i want to start taking a dance class but i have no idea what's out there...where is a good place near manalapan nj? and what are some good classes to take?

You might want to find a dance school which has instruction in a variety of dance styles so you can try different styles to see which suits you best. Some gyms might have dance classes. Check your local recreation centers. Personally, I love Middle Eastern Belly Dance and I've been studying it for a few years now. http://www.shira.net/links.htm is a great place to find instructors and performers for anyone interested in Middle Eastern Belly Dance.
