Rainboots - 2 (incase you lose 1, it gets messed up, etc)
Tennis Shoes - 1 (unless your big on tennis, 2/3)
Heels - 8ish or one to match every casual dress.
Snow Boots - 2 (When one is soaking wet, you got the other)
Sneakers - 2
Flip Flops - 5ish (they break easily)
Really, everyone needs at least 2 pairs of each kind of shoe. Incase one gets lost/dirty/etc..
I have more than I should have though. I have atleast 80+ shoes. I'm only 17 too. I'm still in high shool. More than half of them are designer shoes. I'm a girl and I love my shoes. ♥
Guys will just never understand a true lady's need and compassion for shoes.

A women should have at least one shoe of every category that you need. For example, if you live in a place that never snows, there's not point of having snow boots. You should also have shoes that you absouletly need. Such as sneakers and dress shoes. It becomes too much when you start to have shoes that you don't need or you have an excess of shoes. For example, a couple pairs of dress shoes are okay, but when you have like 6 or 7 then it becomes an excess. However, if you can handle having 50 pairs of shoes and actually wear ALL moderatly then it's fine. After all, a women can't have too many shoes....

I have about 50 pairs of shoes also. My husband thinks I have too many shoes and he said that they all look the same which I completely disagree. But I think 30 pairs of shoes should be enough if I had to say. Because you need different color boots, pumps, tennis shoes, and flip flops to match your outfits.

Honey, you can NEVER have too many shoes. Just explain to your husband that a woman needs her shoes and if he doesn't like it, then just don't pay attention to him. Pay attention to those cute kitten heels in the nearby shopping window! If you believe that, then you shouldn't worry about it. If this doesn't work, try to bug him about you don't like that he has. That will get him a way to stop talking about all those nice shoes you have in your closet. I hope this helps! :-)

well, according to my daughter, you can never have too many shoes.. but basically, you should have a winter pair, rain pair, sneakers, hiking boots (if you do) couple pair of dress shoes and casual shoes. and a pair of sandels. but 50? dang girl. haha. but what the "experts" say is you do need to rotate your shoes and never wear the same pair mutliple days in a row. its not good for your feet

i dont think theres such thing as "too many shoes". you see, women tend to buy shoes "often". it's an uncontrollable habit.
i buy shoes in the mood im in. for instance: i like to buy shoes when im sad & need to be cheered up, over-joyed, or just when i feel i need a little treat for doing a great job on something. it depends on me and my mood. colors matter also. :)
i own about 20 pairs of shoes. :)

properly i do not otherwise recognize your style so i am going to't rather propose what shoes to get. A sporty or casual individual could get 2 or 3 pairs of tennis shoes (likely nikes or communicate) some sandals and turn flops (previous army), perchance one or 2 pairs of residences, comfortable wintry climate boots or mocs (uggs) and boat shoes. A more beneficial dressy individual I say get residences, wedges, some heels (for particular activities), sweater boots, ankle booties, sandals and one pair of tennis shoes. or you may be a mixture of both. or you may be a shoe freak (like me) and get alot of diverse shoes that you want. manufacturers/shops i flow for shoes: coach (i love their wedges and tennis shoes) Payless (i flow their for residences, sandals, wedges and heels- they're very inexpensive and continuously have a sale) Tj Maxx (infinite style of inexpensive dressmaker shoes) Forever21 (i flow their for really any shoe) moist Seal (again some thing) Uggs (for wintry climate boots, even in spite of the undeniable fact that attempt to stay faraway from the brown because they're out this twelve months. flow for like sweater boots) previous army (Alot of diverse shades of turn flops) communicate (for the days i think like being more beneficial "rockier" style) Jouney's (some thing) The Buckle (Sandals and wedges)
