In the motorcycle segment the HERO HONDA still rules the market, In terms of Quality/service/spares/re sale value. U can chose from HERO HONDA PASSION/SPLENDOR for Ur use. Alternatively u can go for BAJAJ -CT 100 .
But Hero Honda would be better, in looks and value.
Other bikes would give u mileage problem,which u will realise in long run.

if you want touring i would suggest a yamaha fjr 1300
