I have 200 dollars to get my 12 year old cousin a gift. he's 12 years old and if i'm informed right has just about nothing except things he shares with his 5 year old brother (he's getting a leapster and 5 games) I don't know his interests but if his dad has any influence on him it might be soccer but i guarantee he's got a ball and all of that stuff already. Ummm basically I'm working with no info other than he lives in an urban area, and he's around 12 years old, a charity case pretty much no thanks to his mom whom i hate and given that I haven't seen him since he was 8 but I always send stuff they ask for but this year I have no requests so "Santa" can't do her job... Any suggestions. I really want it to be something he can use for a while but still add some educational value and fallin to the 200.00 dollar range...

Hmmm....
All I can think of, regarding education, is give him lots of books. Buy a variety. Fiction, nonfiction, that sort of thing. Barnes and Nobles would have great stuff.

If he's not into books, you could get him a Playstation 2. It may not be too educational but you could shop for games. Maybe you'd find something.

Hope this helps! Good luck!
