If it's only getting 10, then you should be now because there's probably going to be people waiting in line already. If it's 50, you can probably show up around 5 am at the latest, but I would scope out the Target before closing time and see if there's a line. If there's a line and more people are getting in line, then you better get in line. If you can, try to bring someone with you so you can use toilet breaks and what not.
My guess is that Target is probably going to do a ticket thing since it's the most civilized way. Wouldn't want a bunch of people pushing each other aside just to get to the electronics department to get a Wii. Anyway, once you get your ticket, you can go home, hang around, etc. until the store opens. When it opens, someone is going to ask you to show him/her your ticket, so show the ticket, and then you're allowed to go to the electronics department. Get what you need, such as extra controllers, Wii points, games, accessories, etc., then get in line. When you get to the cashier, he/she will ask for your ticket, so show your ticket, the guard will hand over the Wii, pay the cashier, go home and try not to get robbed, enjoy the Wii.

Nintendo actually targets the Wii towards all ages. Assisted Living places have Wii Sports and the elders love bowling. Yet the Wii also has tons of games for kids, teens, and adults.

I think a big deciding factor is actually how many they will have. If it's only like 10, then make sure you're there pretty early. If it's more like 50, I think you could probably go a little later than opening and get one.
Just give them a call and ask what the process is, and also if they know how many they will have.

not sure.. all stores are different, call and ask if they are going to give out tickets. Ive seen people wait in line fore 30 hours (for ps3) and they did a raffle and he didnt make it. Since the launch of the wii people already have it so i do not think it will be as much as a rush as it was in the beginning. couple hours before maybe?

call them and tell them your name and let them know that you will pick up a nintendo wii from that store. They will most likely be keeping nintendo wii seperately until you come back and pick it up from the store. i work at target so i do have experience about these stuffs. call them and reserve a copy. since it's 5 minutes from your house, i don't think you have to go there at 3 o clock to pick it up. it's neither black friday nor christmas sale so it will not be that bad. if they have 40-50 in stock, thats enough.

My friend slept outside Wal-Mart for the Wii. If you won't do that, get there 10 minutes early and rush to the electronic desk. They should be able to help.
