If I ovulated on the 31st and had sex on the 8th, got my period on the 15th....is there any chance I am pregnant?

Don't eggs only survive 24-48 hours, leaving enough of a time frame for it to disintregate into the uterine lining? Also, women only ovulate once per cycle. Last time I asked this question everyone answered YES you can get pregnant. How? Am I pregnant?

if your period happened (i.e. menstrual flow occured) then that indicates that the egg was not fertilized and did not embed itself into the uterine lining. If it was fertilized, it would have attached to the uterine lining and begun to develop, and your body would not have ejected the lining.

A strong indicator of pregnancy is missing a period. There are other reasons why one would miss their period, but since you did not miss your period, you did not get pregnant.

you will properly be pregnant in thought, its uncommon even though it may ensue. you will not constantly ovulate on the comparable day each and each cycle. each so often your physique will produce the hormone surge at an off time and you will ovulate. If this happens close to your era, the egg remains interior the fallopian tube for the era of the era, and you gets pregnant in case you had intercourse perfect in the past it started. The egg is in simple terms possible for twenty-four-36 hours, yet they take approximately 5 days, provide or take, to attain the uterus to the two be surpassed, or implant if fertalized. additionally, as quickly as in an incredible whilst, you may ovulate whilst on your era, and get pregnant that way. I at the instant am in simple terms shy of 9 months from this way of component. each so often you're able to have a era or a pair of classes once you first get pregnant, theyre not finished classes that shed your uterine lining, yet previous blood or areas of the liner that are actually not taken up by the being pregnant. Its insanely uncommon to have an entire on era an be pregnant. in many circumstances its an indication of an early miscarriage. yet those are actually not popular circumstances. in many circumstances the cycle is the comparable each and each month, you thicken your uterine lining, the egg is released, it strikes to the uterus, and you the two have a being pregnant, or shed the liner and it starts returned. If for some reason you think of you may properly be pregnant, take a try. yet its notably unlikely in case you have had your era.

very unlikely you are pregnant

a lot of the people who like to say you can get pregnant at anytime are technically right, but say you have sex in the time frame 3 days before and 3 days after you ovulate.. ok lets say the chances of you getting pregnant through unprotected sex at this time are 50/50, while having sex at the time you described, 8 days after ovulation, while there 'technically' is still a chance, it is something on the order of 5/95.. .meaning there is less than a 5% chance you could get pregnant

some people will tell you you can still get pregnant by having sex on your period! well I guess they are right, but the chance is less than 1/10th of a percent

ok relax eggs do only stay viable for a day or two so you really dont have anything to worry about of course there is always the chance that you are preg but since you started your period as long as it was normal and not extra light i wouldnt worry about being pregnant and yes you dont have to worry women only ovulate once per cycle

how can you know you ovulated on 31st? if so then don't think there's much chance of you being pregnant but get a test & put your mind at rest.

hope it all works out for you x
