Danios. Tolerant of temperature changes, extremely hardy (often recommended to cycle tanks), can tolerate a wide range of pH levels. I've had several of mine live through two separate "plagues" that killed off most of my other fish - I've since learned to quarantine new fish.

For a 21 litre / 5 gallon Fluval part tank? Shrimps and snails, particularly. length-sensible a Betta could be acceptable, yet they want get admission to to floor air and the tiny placing out on the part tank isn't adequate. A unmarried Dwarf Puffer is an option even nonetheless it is not a standard fish to maintain by using fact of its nutritional desires.
