If you came hom a little early one night(you were supposed to be gone until the next night) and saw your son and his girlfriend sleeping in eachother's arms, would you assume they had sex?? Would you say anything to them?? Would you make her go home?? He was in boxers, and her in a bra and panties. Would you assume they had sex or just fell asleep??

- I would assume that they fell asleep. Don't just go on thinking that they did something, because your child will feel privacy-less and he'll have a hard time opening up too you.

They are both 16. What exactly would you do or say?? Would you listen to you child?? Don't say anything until you are alone with him, and ALWAYS listen to him.

Would you be mad at your son or his g/f?? Would you ever let them be alone together or see eachother again?? No, don't be mad at your son, because it is his life you know? And he is sixteen, and if you've done your job on teaching him sex-ed than he should be alright. Yes let them see each other again, they are girlfriend/boyfriend, don't let one incident seperate them from each other because than they'll just sneak and try to be with each other.

WOuld you wait to tell them you were home until they woke up in the morning and saw you sitting at the table eating?? Would you be suprised?? Mad?? Upset?? or happy??I don't really understand this question.

Would you tell him you no longer trust him alone or blame yourself for going out of town?? NO!, don't say you don't trust him. My parents said the same thing to me and I just felt like crap all of the time. And don't blame yourself, like I said earlier it's hard to know that your child is growing up but he would have eventually experimented with whatever he was doing.

Would you call her parents?? Would you ground him??
-No don't call her parents, If she wants them to know than she'll tell them herself. Why would you ground your son honestly?. Because he was with his girlfriend. Just be glad that your son is there.

My first concern would be, if they had sex did they use protection. We can't always stop our children from doing things, but we can teach them to be careful.

Alot of parents forget what life was like at the age of 16. We seem to forget what we did.

I can understand your unhappiness over the situation, but as a mother, I have an open relationship with my children. They can come to me about anything. I don't always like what they tell me. When it comes to sex, teens don't want to hear the word no especially if they think they are in love.

Mom, worry more about making sure that you aren't going to become a grandmother.

As for him being in his boxers and her in her bra and panties, maybe they didn't do the deed. Don't jump to conclusions, don't ask questions, give facts, give condoms!!

I would of course be taken aback, but not shocked. Boys and girls can and do find other places besides home to get together and, if they wish, have sex too.
I think I should know my son fairly well. I wouldnt wake them up, but would ask them if I meet them in the morning when they wake up. If the girl isnt there, I will talk to my son. Examination of his underclothing without his knowing it would be easy, for tell tale signs.
What matters is your attitude towards this type of behaviour. Deal with it in a practical manner. Your son's happiness is yours too.

Um, I am a parent. I also was a sexually active teenager at one time. If they fell asleep in their undies, I would assume they either have had sex or are close to giving in to that desire. Talk to your child about protection if you haven't. And try not to get too upset in front of him/her.

I know most parents (myself included) would LOVE for their kids to wait for marriage. But the plain and simple truth is they are human with a lot of hormonal changes going on. Try to remember how you felt with your first love before talking to your teen & GOOD LUCK!!!

I'd assume they at some point did SOMETHING more than sleeping. Maybe no sex, but certainly not just skin on skin sleeping.

Of course i'd send her home, tell her parents, give her a good talking to, and then whip my sons butt. Even if he were grown.

Not in my house mister. And not with the common sense I know I'd have raised my child with.

I would probably assume the same thing... I would send her home, talk with my son and I would also think the girls parents should be told... all depending on their ages of course yes listen to what he has to say and decide based on the relationship you have with him while keeping in mind what he did.....and try to do all that without yelling....... :o(

They so had sex. How old are they? If underage, you should tell the girl's parents. Definitely talk with your son. And,yes, the girl needs to go home immediately.

Yes, I would assume that they had sex. And they better hope the husband's not with me when it happens.

16 year olds have sex. It happens.

I would have a loooong talk with him, call her parents, and if they were still allowed by her parents to be together, keep them monitered at ALL times they're together.
