People usually get fired because they are doing the jobs poorly, do something inappropriate, or because the company itself is not doing well and needs to trim staff.
How do you stop crying? By realizing that we are in a very good economy right now, and there are plenty of other jobs out there.
I was laid off in May of 2005. I was stunned. Yet I never doubted for a minute that eventually I would land on my feet. It took 2 months to find a job that paid roughly what I was making before, but with no benefits. 8 months later, that company hired me permanent at higher pay and with better benefits than I had had before.

People get fired from work not just because they are doing bad, but usually because one of the people who has a say in their status, just doesnt like them, but that is only in some cases. But the way to stop from crying is to just think: was i really that happy where i was at? if you werent then think that this is just a chance to find somewhere that will make you happier. And if you enjoyed where you were working, then this should just be a sign for change, you may have had a good time where you were, but now you may find some where even better or more convenient, and be able to make more friends. Basically my philosiphy is: There is always something good to found out of even the worst things. I know it seems overly optimistic but it really does help, and just remember...every cloud has a silver lining

People get fired from work for various reasons. Perhaps they are not doing the job very well, or stealing, and last but not least, doing away with certain positions. Some people are not needed anymore. Regardless of what the reasons, it is sad and I'm sure hard to get over. Financial distress is a complete burden on anyone, and finding another job with the same pay, very difficult. I feel bad for anyone in this position.

People get fired for any number of reasons.
Poor performance, excessive tardiness, cut-backs, stealing.... So on.
Some people cry when this happens, others do not. If you are a fairly emotional person, you might not be able to keep from crying. Once you start, you know, it's like anything else... You might stop in 5 minutes, it might take longer.
I don't know that there's any particular method for not crying.

Usually they get fired because they weren't meeting the job requirements. Sometimes people are "laid off" and that isn't the person's doing. Just go out and find another job, it's not the end of the world. Happens to the best of us.

Maybe they get fired because they are obsessed with toilets. To stop crying - find another job.

Why would you want to stop. Make the employer feel guilty and unable to sleep at night. Perhaps next time they wont be so ornery.
