Eyesight??

Question

Every once in a blue moon, I get double vision in my right eye only, and I cannot see very well. My eye also hurts really bad when this happens. SO my questions are:
1. Is this related to my migraines? (I'm not sure on this because I have been getting this double vision since about the 5th grade and was never diagnosed for my migraines until junior yr of high school. I am now in my sophomore year of college.)

The doctors won't look at it unless I have the double vision at the time I am at the doctor and that is so hard to get that appointment because most the time it is gone by the timeI get to my appt. There was 1 time I got into the dr on time and I passed out on the guy 3 times becausemy eye hurts so bad and I was sent to my other dr for tests and was never able to finish the eye test.

2. What do you think is causing this double vision and hurt in my right eye?
