Depending on who you want to believe, there are many theories. Molestation can play a part in preferring members of the same sex, and religious groups would have you believe that there is something wrong with you if you are gay (Of course there are some religious groups who are tolerant and believe god loves you as you are, regardless). Science says that it is genetic since basically until a certain point in fetal development a person is actually both sexes (incidentally this is also causing problems in religious and science groups because some researchers think they might be able to manipulate this to purposely have parents chose the sex of their children). I guess until we stand in front of the pearly gates and can ask Him directly, we may never know. Really, I think I will have more important questions on my mind than this when I do meet Him myself. what it really comes down to is acceptance. If my children ever come to me and tell me they are gay, I will still love them the same as always.

WOW, what causes it? I truly believe people choose to become this way.. Attraction is the culprit.. Just like anything else, when you are attracted to someone or something you have to pursue it. You just have to have it Sexuality, sensuality, lust, choices, and attraction, that should sum it all up for you.
