Speaking from like experience--somewhere along the line the two you made unconscious choices that were logical, rational, and pragmatic. Society endorses these choices as a cruel life sentence of unfulfilled dreams and passionless couples. These choices did not address your passions, your true wants, your dreams nor the court, spark and flame that lit the fire of your love. I lost my identity as man to be a husband and my ex lost her identity as a woman to be a wife. I went on a quest to reclaim it. She was not invited.
That's what happened to me and maybe you can identify with it and maybe not. In as much as I do not regret the path that I took, I do not recommend it either. Marriage is a wonderful insrirurion provided that you make the right choice.
You want to have fun again? I am so sorry that I do not have an answer for you. This forum is much too small to discuss my ideas, suggestions or experiences.

It depends on what you did for fun before. Is it the same thing you do know. If it is then something went wrong. Have you went through a change that might make you think differently about your husband. Something at work or at home. There might be some outside influence that is affecting you marriage.

It sounds like you two are settling down or getting comfortable with each other. You can do alot of things to spice up your relationship or you will eventually grow apart. Try for one weekend to be his TOTAL sex slave and not ask him for anything except if you can do more for him. Put your ego aside and try it , if it doesn't work then at least you tried.

Have you heard the saying ~ "familiarity breeds contempt"?
Well, marriage (and other familiar relationships) does that. In all relationships, especially marriage, you have to work hard to keep that spark alive.
Use your imagination to have fun again like you used to. Sometimes, the simplest things makes us happy!

it's the ring syndrome, gone are the spontaneous decisions replaced with the planning, kids, life etc, so go back to the way you guys were when you lived together, and spice things up, suprise him with new stuff like dress ups and role-playing. Do stuff you used to do, be a bit adventorous and stop bossing him around the place and tell him to pull his weight.

Spontenaety is pretty good stuff, on a whim do something crazy, keep him guessing, dont let the bond get in a rut.
