The French literaly enslaved Viet Nam. Pearl Harbor was not a naval museum (allthough they ran it like one) The Brits had their claws in the whole world. I have been reading "Interrogations: The Nazi Elite in Allied Hands, 1945 ." It states that the Allies were going to charge Goering with the war crime of bombing civilians. They thought better when they realized: "oh wait, that was us."

Who was or was not the good guys has very little to do with who caused the war. France after WWI had put large resources into building defensive positions not offensive capability. England is often accused of appeasement because of the concessions it made to avoid war because it was not ready to fight. The US was so reluctant to fight that it did not join in until they were attack and Germany and Japan declared war against them. But Germany was prepared for an offensive war even though it violated the terms of the armistice of WWI. It was the one that moved armies into neighboring countries.

World war II was basically a confrontation between western countries.

Although there also were Asiatic countries like China and Japan.

Germany took over by force Austria, Memel, Checoslovaquia and Poland

While Italy her ally did the same with Ethiopia, Corfu and Albania

And japan invaded China, they all altered an established order in the world, starting WW II.

That´s why these countries are historically considered guilty of starting the war.

Because they Attacked first. They were sending everybody who disagreed with the Nazi Government to reeducation centers, what would be called by us Polly Ann's, Concentration Camps.

While is will agree the France and Great Britain were colonial powers. and Pearl Harbor was what it was always planned to be the forward deployment base for the United States Navy in the Pacific. But I wouldn't base my beliefs on one book read Diary of Anne Frank, The Hiding Place for stories of live under the German's. Also read Edward Murrow's report's of Buchenwald.

As for bombing Civilians if anyone can tell me a way to bomb something from an airplane, without radar controlled munitions. in the middle of a metropolitan area without killing civilian please tell me.

They didn't charge Goering with that war crime because they thought they had a better case with Crimes against Humanity.

Because the French and the British had colony's (Germany did too.), doesn't negate German responsibility for ww2.
If you have a problem with colonialism that is a different issue altogether. By the way all of Africa and many parts of Asia were better off under European suzerainty than they are now. Just something to consider.
