I have been experiencing a pain/tenderness in my stomach (below the belly button) for a long period of time. I had an ultrasound and they noticed a thickening of the cervix. Anyone have any ideas as to what this means?

After a year of having this pain, I found out I have endometriosis.
Just an FYI - if your doctor rules out endometriosis without doing surgery, then you seriously need to find another doctor. It cannot be ruled out using only ultrasound.
