All the folic acid the babies needed in high volume they already got. Its not important how much folic acid you get once you know you're pregnant, as it is before you become and even know you're prengnant.

Their growing bodies use it to properly form the spinal column and vital systems, they do that in the first 6-8 weeks, generally you dont even really know youre pregnant by then, or else you just found out.

What you get in your diet, and from the prenatal is surely to be enough.

Your doctor will better advise you if he/she feels your particular situation requires more.

I had to take Iron when I was pregnant with my twins...I was anemic, but I am not usually when I'm not pregnant, but your doctor will tell you that when you'll have blood tests...for the other vitamins you should take what's written on the bottle not more...unless your doctor tells you so.
