I need a janitorial/ cleaning business license in Colorado. The Secretary of State refers me to Dept of Revenue and the Dept of Revenue sends me right back. I have been playing phone ping pong for weeks!!! HELP!!

Go to your City council office-First registered your Business name and apply for a license with city authority.Secretary of State or Revenue dept has nothing to do with it.Go to consumer affairs dept or your Chamber of Commerce office-if not go to http://www.sba.org

Business Licenses are available on the local level. Go to the city clerk's office and ask about registering your business. Also consider asking about the proper steps from S.C.O.R.E. - - - > http://www.score.org
