No, they have the right to limit the quantity of items for any reason. It's their store, their product.

In order to prevail, you must have what is called a justiciable
injury. In other words, you must seek remedy for only your own
injury or one for a person for which you hold power of attorney.
Other elements include, you must have quantifiable damages,
traceable to a wrongful act by this defendant, and there must be
a remedy that the court can give you.
In this case, a store can not only refuse to sell to you, they can tell you to stay off their property if they choose. If you dont comply, you become a trespasser because you are no longer an invitee of the business.
Summary: find another vendor who sells that product, and
give them your business, because I doubt that there is a cause of action in these facts..

Private businesses in this country have the right to sell to you or to refuse to sell to you. They can't be the only company with the item you wanted to buy. Go to their competitor and let the upper management of the company know that someone in their store cost them your business.

Nope, it's their store, their rules, and you are just going to have to get used to it. If you had intended to buy more than one or two, it was probably to resell it anyway.
