Depending on the rim, and the amount of damage, it may be fixable or it may be better to replace the rim. Do not try to fix it yourself, have a qualified shop do the repair. Talking a torch to a chrome rime will most likely cause the rim to discolor!

See what the cost of repair would be, and also the cost of a new rim. In either case, you will have to have the tire dismounted, and remounted and balanced.

If the cost of repair is over 50% of the cost of replacing the rim, replace the rim!

If it didn't bend enough to pop the tire you may be able to straighten it but one thing you should know before you put heat (torch) to the rim, make sure the tire is off first or it could blow up in your face. Just letting the air out won't work either because the heat will begin to melt the rubber and the it most likely won't seal and hold air again. The other thing you should know before you put heat to the chrome is the heat will discolor the chrome and if it gets hot enough it could even take the chrome off. Good luck

Yes It Will Be Verry Easy With The Mallet Though You could Bend It too Much The Opposite Side

it may, but it if not done by an experience pro it could very well break a huge chunk off the rim and then you'll have to replace the whole thing. When you bang and bend metal it weakens it and if a piece moves too much it will break off...be careful

I have the same problem. I think the best solution is to get a new one. Unless you have a way to check for balance somehow.

you can try kitting it with a hammer if it's not too bad, have done this before and lucked out that the wheel didn't vibrate any, so it can be done.
