why do you feel a gravitational force between two rocks when you hold them together and circle?

Hold two rocks together and have someone circle the rocks with a third rock. For some reason after 10 to 20 seconds you can feel a magnetic force between the two rocks.

No physical basis for it. Its just some kind of mental parlor trick or slight of hand where your attention is focused on one thing, and not the other.
