You cant necessarily get pregnant while you are on your period because that is the shedding of the lining of the uterus, washing out the old egg. But if you have a cycle that is not normal you could immediatley ovulate after your period and that means that if you have sex while you are on your period the sperm can live inside of you for on average 3 to 5 days sometimes up to 7 days. So if you have sex on that one day during your period, then the sperm is waiting there for that egg to come when you ovulate afterwards. That is how people get pregnant while they are on their period.

You could, but only if your cycle is very short (21 to 24 days) and you have sex on one of the last days. Then, since sperm can last for up to 5 days, technically, you could ovulate while the sperm was still inside you.
However, if you have a 28 to 34 day cycle and have sex in the first few days, no, it would not be possible.

You could get pregnant on your period if your cycle was normal. Its not common, but its not impossible.

it's not very likely becuz you get your period after the egg has been expelled. I'm sure in some very rare case it's possible, but extremely unlikely to happen.

YES!!!!! Having a period doesn't prevent pregnancy. If you don't feel comfortable talking to your family, talk to your doctor to get the facts.
