My boss is thinking of promoting me, but has made it very clear that in order for that to go ahead, I must fulfill certain 'requirements'. I know what you're thinking, and honestly, I wish it were that simple.
No, instead, she wishes to walk me round on a lead in her house and generally humiliate me for half an hour, once a week for six months.
I would get a £4900 per year pay rise. Any thoughts to help me out?

Go for it big time, get your contract, have your fun then stop going to her house (but maintain the standard of your work).

I'd love to see how she would put her case to the unfair dismissal tribunal / or in court over a simple case of employment law.

Alternatively, get her to contact me, i could use the money and it might be fun - lol.

If this really appeals to you then go right ahead. You must realise however that this will give her total power over you, not only on a lead in her house, but everywhere out of her house as well. Also bare in mind that 6 months will drift to a year and longer and longer and once a week will become 2 etc. etc. You could never say no, not with the knowledge she has on how to humiliate you. and for goodness sake make it at least 10 grand!

before you do anything, think about how much the job means to you verses your own level of personal value when it comes to being used, even if there is something in it for you...

think about your value as an employee, and then think about how long this could last if you do say yes...

if you accept: because you have basically sold yourself and she will now see you as less of a man than you are, one day, she will cast you aside and move on to the next, and because you accepted this, you will be in a position where you cannot do anything about it!

do not accept: she may, and probably will fire you, at the very least, it will be a very tence and uncomfortable working situation. i'm sure, as the boss, she's used to getting her own way....

which is more important?

Make her right that on a piece of paper and sign it. Then tell her she must promote you and then you can humiliate her, if she doesn't show the paper to someone higher up in the company and she will be fireeeeeddd....she will becoem ur biotch

I would definately go for it. But that depends on the kind of humiliation, if it's something that's going to degrade you and eat at you, and go against your morale judgement, then nothing's worth that. If it's something that you can actually laugh along with, manipulate, and come out on top from, then definately. It all depends on your abilities bro.

peace and love,

That sounds like a good idea. But not really. Is it really a good idea to have that type of relationship with someone at work. Especially sexual...unless u think shes hot. Thats a different story.

So what if you like that type of enjoyment you can do it for dual benefit or file Law suit against her for sexual harassment.Possibly the company will come with a best compromised offer!as well as benefits.

sounds exciting - say you'll do it for free & then ask for a rise for all your hard work.

if you're really good at walking on a lead you might get more rises ... that was a pun.... ha ha ha ?
