I'm sorry to say that they are very poor guitars. Never buy a guitar from WalMart, Target, TJ Maxx, or any department store.

Several of them have come into my shop after just a few weeks of ownership and because of their construction the cost of repair either exceeds what was initially spent on the thing, or they end up being almost impossible to fix.

You don't need to spend big bucks on a beginner guitar, but if you put aside 50 cents a day for a year you could actually buy a guitar that would be great for a new player. Heck, I spend more than that every day on a soda.

If you only want to spend $70 on a guitar, do yourself a favor, don't do it.

i disagree. i bought a strat body guitar from Kohls. It is heavy and plays nicely. spent less than $100 for the gutiar, practice amp, soft gig bag and tuner...maybe even an extra set of strings as well. in fact, i spent less than $80 for the whole setup...the week after christmas. that was several several years ago, and the guitar still rox just as hard as anything $200+ and up! good luck. guess i'm one of the very few.

It's not worth your money. You would be better off buying a chep guitar from Squier or Epiphone, getting a really cheap and small amp, cord, strap, tuner, and picks. It's probably more money, but later on, you'll be happier that you did it.

don't get it. You're much better off getting a real guitar and not a knock off brand that gained the seal of a real brand like Squier.
