Yes they can, especially if it is on sale and they have posted that there are a limit. They can also limit you if they feel you are going to re-sale the product

Yes.
They limit the sales of drugs containing ephedra,
they limit the sales of items that they have special pricing on, but limited quantities.
they limit the sales of prepaid cell phones by government order.
they Used to limit baby formula sales at Walmart sotres..(never knew why...)

Yes they can. It goes under the "we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone" heading. A lot of stores do that with items such as medicines and high demand on sale items.

Certainly they can, and for whatever their reason/s may be. It may also be due to limited stocks and to avoid selling to retailers who might resell them at a later point of time at a goof profit. Also they might want their product (probably at discounted prices) to be more widely distributed to their supporters/customers.
