Probably becasue they are out of touch with reality and the majority of the populace. Because the endorced an illegal war. Because they force so called "Christian" values down our throats. Their economic policies benefit only the wealthiest 2%. Their idea of foreign relations includes a fleet of B-52's. They don't respect the worker, unions, teachers, libraries, the arts and other cultural programs that hep mainatin our civilization.

If you agree with anything the president has done in the past or will do in the future then you, by the liberal definition of the term, will be labeled a neocon. So, to sum it up, if you support Bush, Neocon. If you agree with him on any or some issues, closet Neocon. It's used as a derogatory term to demean right-thinking people. Unless you hate George Bush then you, my friend, are a NEOCON!!!

The difference between the opposition and I as a conservative is that I don't hate them. I disagree with their politics, If you disagree with them then you will be hated also! I am not religous and do not force it down their throats. They on the other hand hate anything to do with christianity. What harm comes from some plastic figures called a nativity scene? They sure don't bother me. As far as the scandal goes I think any congress person that commits a crime should get 10 times the amount of time a civilian would get. The reason the Republicans took control of the House and Senate was because of Democrat scandals and corruption, but they seem to have forgotten that.

Their foreign politics are based on bullying the world, even though it is patently ineffective. Their domestic politics are based on libertarian fairy tales about trickle down prosperity, because they have a basic disrespect for the people at the bottom of the economic order. they are zenophobes with very little sense of diplomacy, but a whole lot of arrogance. their concept of political rough and tumble is little more than a collection of strategies for mud slinging and character assasination.
BTW, you can't possibly be a neocon. If you really were one, you would never be openminded enough to ask other people's opinions.

Because they tried to portray themselves as having family values and they turned out to be child molesters, kidnappers, torturers, thieves, and killers. They say they love democracy and the Iraqi people but the only thing they protect is the oil fields. They say they are against gay marriage and Cheney's daughter is starting a family with her gay lover.
The neocons allowed a child molester to continue molesting so they could have one more Republican vote in congress. Do you ever watch the news or read the newspaper there are lots of reasons.
The Republicans and George Bush Jr. had weekly conference calls to get advice from a minister with 30 million people in his congregation that did meth and hired gay prostitutes with money that was suppose to be used to honor Jesus Christ.
These are real things that happend. The Republicans are out of people to blame. Everybody hates them.

I am a News Junkie.
But the only place I have ever heard the term: Neocon is on Yahoo.
I'm beginning to think that it is a term used by foreigners. But, I may be wrong.
When these American Haters get on Yahoo, I can't tell if they are foreigners on just little Democrats.
They sound exactly the same.

Because they represent a small segment of the population but they impose their belligerency, mean-spiritedness and their Neo-Nazi perspective on all the rest of us. They're also narrow minded, greedy and selfish. I would not judge them on an individual basis but as a group, this is how they come across.
