I would like to put a big engine in my mudding machine could i possibly put a chevy 383 in my 98 4dr chevy blazer?

Its just a bored and stroked small block it can be done, If your state has emission laws I would not recommend it, your car will not pass the inspection

Yes you can. Get this book. It shows you all aspects of the conversion. It says 1982-1993 but it also has a chapter on your body style since there are only a few differences.
