Gum? Candy canes? Lip gloss? Nailpolish?

.... What should I buy them, and how should I wrap the presents?

I don't have much money, so I can't afford expensive gifts.

Get them some lotion! It is totally useful and they could use it like everyday! as for wrapping put it in a special or decorative paper bag with candy or something!

Try making an assortment. For example, if they are into nails and that kinda stuff, make them a nail care kit. Buy some different nail polishs, cuticle cream, polish remover, nail details like glitter/gems and basic hand care supplies. You can find these relatively cheap at Rite Aid, etc. Try stuffing a small basket with cotton balls, commonly used with nail polish removing, and put the small nail gifts inside. Make it cute and it will make a great gift. This can work for other themed gifts as well.

I buy things for my family and friends from our local food service. Its a novel thing to get a commercial container of food like a 20 pound box of spaghetti like I give my sister every year and I give her a box of 6 #10 cans of sauce. That only costs me around $36 and she makes 6 huge meals out of it for her family. There are all kinds of ideas like boxes of cereal bars that are around $5 or gars of candy starting out at around $10. Most food services also have a huge selection of herbs and spices.
