In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.
Love and blessings

Santa Klaus is a mispronunciation of the Ducth Sinterklaas meaning Saint Nicholas. The story is he dropped money into the stockings of 3 young women so they could have a dowry to get married.
Satan comes from Hebrew word meaning accuser or adversary. In the book of Job he was the prosecuting attorney against man in the heavenly court of God. The concept of Satan probably entered Judaism when it was exposed to the Iranian Zoarastrian religion at the time of the explulsion of the Jews to Babylon.
Linking the two words as an anagram, a product only of the English but no other langauge. It is coincidental and has no significance, unless you can see significance also in the following anagrams:
Dog is God spelt backwards.
Jesus Christ is an anagram of Chess Jurist.

I thought of that too. I was like WOW...Santa is an anagram of Satan. But I was bored, and I don't think much about it. In a way, I do believe that Santa Claus is misleading people from the real reason for the season: our Savior Jesus Christ! But it's really just a made-up character to make it less boring for the children. What kid would want to celebrate a holiday by going to a mass at 12 midnight? But who knows, Santa COULD be real...

This is bologna! Listen I am a christian my parents raised me to believe in Jesus as my Lord and Savior. They also raised me to believe in Santa. My belief in Christ is stronger then ever and my belief in Santa faded along with childhood.
The fact is most if not all grow up and don;t believe in Santa when they do. So I hardly think its right to blame a harmless fictional character that brings the magic of Christmas alive for the lack of attention that Christ gets. Sadly most people just decide not to believe nor acknowledge what Christ did for them..
Basing this accusation because of a coincidence is foolishness. The letters in God could also spell dog so does that mean that we should start worshiping our canine companions? NO!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, considering the fact that Christians stole Santa from the Pagans in the first place, I'd say that you get what you deserve.

The moment we step into the paradoxical sleeping period of the rapid eyes movement, odyssey of sleep begins to wander into the atmospheric space where our dreams take place. This was where we met most spiritual entities either dead or alive. Besides the living spirits that wander during their sleep, the dead were also there to share the space. This was also where the demonic world stay to watch the spectrum of our auras. When our spirit was still within the orbiting range of our "desire" gravitational space, our dreams could be seen with their actual experiences. The satellite transmission could still be received by our mind. Our "desire" energy of gravity could still hope for some reality to takes place. This was what our dreams was all about. But when our "believe" enters into the non gravitational space outside the orbiting sphere of our life. The "desire" which was with the sleeping body could no longer gravitate the actual event that the "believe" experienced. This identical twins of our "life" was separated during our sleeping period. The "believe" will leave the body for some reconnaissance. Wandering into the atmospheric space where the demonic world lived in the electromagnetic field is a "free trade zone" of global congregation. The "weight" of uranium in our knowledge was what the "believe" will shone from its brightness in the dark universal space. The spectrum of our auras was like a sparkling light passing in the dark universal space. Demonic entities may have some interest to invest their business proposition. Human is their commodity to invest their satanic prosperity. We may not know their diabolical investment. The "desire" on the body was where they took so much interest. Demonic entities will watch our spirit with great interest. This was where the 'desire" was shown by the "believe". We could always speculate what could really happen if we do not have sufficient energy to repel them from approaching near.
