say that it wasnt ur fault and that he asked u out it wasnt ur fault but do this u need to sit down and talk with ur friend friendship is WAY better than a bloke listen to each other and find out the source of the problem good luck i wish the best for u and if he asks u out keep saying no and stick to it evadently he might do the same thing and it would cause more drama then what i was

Good on you that you said no to him. Unless you were flirting with him to give him the idea that he could ask you out then you have been a good friend to her. But she may feel that he came on to you because you had been flirting a little and she's insecure and hopping mad at her B/F and is taking her anger out on you! If your friendship is a deep one she'll calm down and realise he was a jerk. Just don't close the door on her at the moment or hold any of the hurtful things she may have said to you, in her upset. Keep calm and supportive if she needs you.

Were you flirting with him a lot?
If so, then the relationship would have ended with or without you, but that is still not a nice thing for a friend to do. I would apologize for being flirtatious in that instance (especially if you knew they were having problems--not nice at all).
If not, then still say no to him, but let her cool off and still be her friend.

She blamed you because it is easier than facing the truth. This guy just wasn't that into her. If she is really your friend in a day or two she will appologize if not then she wasn't really your friend anyway.

Do everything you can to reassure, but you must give it some time. If the boot were on the other foot I'm sure you'd feel the same.

NOTHING....Let things die down and try talking to her again, if she refuses to believe you then find a new friend. She doesn't trust you anymore and no relationship can survive without trust.
