Went to a national food chain (starts with H) and found a hard brown/black small hard lump in my burger. I spit it out and I am not sure what it is. I is about an inch long by 1/2" tall and roundish. My first thought was animal poop. Nededless to say I did not eat anymore. Do I bring it back, save it or try to figure out what it is. How would I even find out what it is? Any ideas would be appreciated.

NEVER start eating at a fast food or any other place until you have given the food "the third degree" as they say. if i find something i can't identify, i send it back and have them remove the item from the check.. never send food back to the kitchen to be fixed, and try to eat it again. you know very well what happens to it when you make the cook mad.......

Wow. One time i had a fly in my salad. Oh yeah, I would bring it back and never go there again. If you think it poisoned you. Sue them lol. Well it might be a poop.Well i always check my food before i even drive out the drive thru. So next time look at your burger.

just take it back, and tell them what you found it in. i work at a fast food restaurant and thats happened before. alot of times things come from the company. We had a hamburger with what looked like a small pellet or almost like buckshot in it so we called the provider and complained. its good for you to tell the store so that no one gets hurt. (plus you will probally get some freebies)

I would think that you could take it to a hospital with the wrapper, they would find out for you, and then they would initiate what to do about it. I say this because this is where you can take trick or treat candy to be checked, and where you would go for food poisoning.

Don't go to ******, i read on here that it is a virus. You should take the burger back and get a refund for it. And tell them you want to know what it is. Should you go to the doctor? ask questions.
