If your tire did not blow out it may not be bad enough to worry about. The tire is more improtant.

any thing with enough money and time almost any thing can be fixed.
a fixed rim may not be safe and can break more easily.
a new one is about the same price. so look at the best alternative and serviceability. it's a easy decision.

Unfortunately, when you dent a rim it must be replaced.
