For Whoever doesn't believe me. They did not arrest me or impound the car. They have a right to do so, but they didn't.

The best thing you can do is go to the judge and beg him/her to let you pay a small fine and do some community service hours. Maybe you can empty trash cans in the office or help the city librarian or something like that.

You should be more worried about the increase in your car insurance rate. Insurance is outrageous for teenagers as it is.

Most of all, you need to slow your butt down. If you continue to drive in this manner, your parents are going to receive that dreaded phone call to come identify your body. You really want to put them through that?

You're in deep trouble. Minimum you will get your license suspended until you are 21-25. Depending on the speed zone you were in.

Also depending on the zone if you were an obvious immediate threat i.e., a city street, any populated area, you maybe charged for reckless driving/endangerment. Then you are looking at jail time or probation.

If this was on the 15 where you were relative ( I use the word loosely) to the flow of traffic, You'll get a huge fine and suspension. Say goodbye to driving for a while, No insurance company will touch you.

That speed with that licence? Baloney. You would have been given an idea what you are facing before being released from jail, and you would have a lawyer already. That speed is an indictable offence in the US, it would be a Criminal Code offence in Canada. It is just as bad as drinking and driving. The worst that could happen is you get a new boyfriend in the big house.

122 MPH is reckless driving, and grounds for arrest in CA. There would be no exceptions at such a speed. Nice try!

If you were really going 122 you dont deserve to ever be in a car again. You should be on a bus or bike until you're 40.
