I love watching the competitive cheerleading on ESPN. I think that cheerleading is an awesome way to get into shape. I was on varsity dance team in high school.

It's fun to do, I was a cheerleader in seven grade. u also learn a lot of fun cheers and movements. U get to wear a uniform,and pom-poms cheerleading shoes and socks. It's a great sport to do.

Personally I think its pretty stupid...i mean it takes athleticism and agility but cheerleading is a sidenote to football/bball games...NO ONE pays attn to them during the game and they are just something to look at while there is a timeout or something...and thats only if your not thirsty/hungry and dont get up to go to the concessions or use the restroom...cheerleading is the LAST thing ppl pay attn to during a game, so why try and make it "competitive"....

Hey you do what you like. I don't know if I would pay to go watch a competition, but that's just me. If you like it, you do it.
