As a former culinary student, I can say it all depends on the type of work you are looking for. If your goals are for higher end, 3-4-5 star restaurants, then you might want to opt for the school with the greater recognition. If you are looking for general culinary training and want to stay in the area you are from, a local school will offer great education and local recognition.
