I own a business so I entertain clients often,since most men want to pay for a woman's dinner ,I arrange before hand with the waiter to charge it to my account or credit card.That way it stops that hassle.But I feel if a man is taking you out ,if he cant afford you he shouldn't ask.
(that was the old days before I got married)

Often, usually I take the check and pay it. Of course the remaining people at the table are trying to get it by reaching for it w/their elbows.

my last girl friend of 10 years would never let me spend on the dates! very rare. i would buy her nice things though. i foot most of the bill next round most of the time i bet.

Quite often. Less and less the older I get. But I enjoy giving. I wish I could more. But I won't foot the bill to people who do not appreciate it. A simple thanks is enough. :)
