"Sunrise, Sunset" sung in "Fiddler on the Roof" is my favorite song. What does the part of its lyrics "Is there a canopy in store for me?" mean? I know what a canopy is. I want to know what this does part exactoly imply? (I am a Japanese.)

= I think he is wondering about something good in the future coming. I will ask around and check with others for you. Yes I was right he is speaking of marriage. The canopy is part of the Jewish wedding ceremony. The couple stands under one and gets married. It is part of their tradition. Happy Holidays.
