Boomer was something like the littlest hobbo.. but he was a sandy coloured dog.
Either that or your thinking of battlestar Galatica..
They had a rbot dog called MUFFET... but there was a fighter pilot called Boomer... There was always APOLLO - STARBUCK (face from the A-team) and a black guy BOOMER
