You should check your owner's manule for this info. It will be manufacturer specific. As a general rule of thumb. No prolonged idleing, no speeds over 60mph. Don't stay at one speed for long durations. Change the oil at 1500 miles, don't wait until your 1st 3000 mile oil change. Avoid fast take-offs and hard stopping. Try to stay low on the boost on the turbo. Definately no red-lines for at least the 1st 3000 miles. And let the car run for a moment or 2 before turning it off, this will let the turbo cool down some. Nice car. My friend just got one. Suspension is a little too tight for me though. Can feel every crack in the road! Still bad *** none the less.

It is my understanding that this car in particular needs to be babied for the first 800-1000 miles to correctly seat the piston rings. If you start jumping on it from the get go, it will start to burn oil at the rate of a quart a thousand or so miles. Not that big of a deal really, but synthetic oil is expensive, and should you forget for a few thousand miles, kaboom! So don't bounce it off the rev limiter and take it easy for now.

run it hard right off the bat and you will have a good running and fast car and if it's going to blow up it will do it while it's still under warranty.
