New Dell computers use Intel Celeron, Centrino or Centrino Duo processors. These are specifically designed for laptops (they use less power, so produce less heat). Older laptops (about 1 year old) used Pentium 4 M processors. The Celeron is a cut-down version of a Pentium 4 chip. You are better off looking for the Centino chip (this also supports wireless networking). The article here: http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-3121_7-5944171.html shows that Pentium 4 laptops were being phased out over 1 year ago (mainly because they used too much battery power)

Laptops can't use Pentium 4 processors, at least I don't think so... but Dell uses the Pentium M, Core Duo, Core 2 Duo, Celeron M, Centino, and Centrino Duo.
