*Make time every single day to do your homework or study. This might be hard if you have other commitments, but it's important.

*If you don't understand something, don't feel stupid! It's ok to ask questions. Ask for help if you need it. Your teachers should be able to either help you themselves or connect you with somebody who can tutor you.

*Sometimes friends can bring you down when you're trying to do better in school. If this is the case for you, it's time to be honest with your friends. Tell them that you need to focus on school now, and you won't have as much time to hang out with them. Also tell them that you'll still be their friend, but you need to put your education first.

Good luck!

Focus. If you don't put your schoolwork first, you will not succeed. You need to give it top priority. Before friends, music, TV, whatever else is taking your attention.
Dedicate yourself to your schoolwork and your grades will improve. Then you will have time for recreation and distractions.
This will take willpower. Do you have it?
