Yes, waynebudd is correct. As the saying goes...A BS degree is "bullsh*t" and MS is "More of the Same" and a PHD is ... However, it is the ones who are willing handle the stuff that gets the money, while others have to pay to get it hauled away.

PhD stands for Doctor of Philosophy and is awarded to someone who has completed estensive academic work in a field. In medieval times, any course of study not classified as medicine, law or theology was classified as philosophy so it is awarded in a wide range of fields. It can also stand for piled higher and deeper.
