My daughter was 9 months old on her first Christmas. She could have cared less about everything... even the gifts.
I don't remember what we got her, but I do remember that it wasn't much. And she was NOT traumatized by it!

Honestly, this is my daughter's first Christmas and she is only 6 months old. Her grandmother is spoiling her rotten on Christmas Eve, and I only have two gifts at home fer her. Am I a bad mom? I doubt it lol. I'm giving her a hammer that when you shake it it lights up and makes noie and an Ernie and Bert ball that vibrates when you touch the mouth and makes laughing noises. I think she'd be happier with just the wrapping paper in my opinion lol. Have a Merry Christmas ! :)

My daughter is ten months old, and we are getting her a few toys and a bunch of clothes and basic stuff. At this age she won't remember what she gets, she will just love to unwrap everything, so I'm even going to wrap up diapers and sippy cups for her.
