Anesthesiologists are MDs so you can major in anything as long as you complete the pre-med requirements and get into medical school. Pharmacists can major in a pharmacy program or chemistry and usually receive Ph.D. to do research and development, or Masters or so to work in a pharmacy or store.

I would think pre-med, although almost any degree can get into medical school if you do well enough on the tests and in your BS degree. Those two degrees come after the bachelor's, and they would be in the medical field, I would think. I don't think there is a "major" in the undergrads for these. Ask a college advisor what to take to work towards them. Good luck!

Since both careers are in the medical field any science degree would be appropiate. Perhaps chemistry or physics if you are considering pharmacy...or biology or chemistry if you are considering anesthesiology.
