My friend is going through a really hard time, and I helped her stop cutting herself, and drinking, drugs, and many more things. But nothing seems to be getting better for her, how can I help. I feel like all she can do is tell me whats wrong, but there is nothing else that I can do. Please help

Your being there for her is more than anything else you could possibly do. If she needs to tell you whats wrong, be there to listen and support, and if possible, offer suggestions. Don't try too hard to change how she feels, though. I agree with others here who say that she may very well need some professional help to overcome, or at least make managable, her current problems. Don't be afraid to offer to get that for her, but don't do it without offering first. She needs to be part of the decision process to get herself better. Sometimes, people need the "gentle push" to get them started in the right direction, especially if they are feeling that down on themself.

Oh My God! You need to plan a harsh intervention. Tell her parents, teachers (how old are you, anyway?), friends, your friend needs help!
