I know that most people are disinterested in the royal family. However, with so much horrible news and depressing stories, I do enjoy watching the royals. I like Kate. I think she seems like a down-to-earth, nice woman. I would love another royal engagement! I have heard that Kate's parents were both flight attendents - would be good to have a royal from a 'normal' background.

Neither Prince William nor Kate did something good for the world except give us smiles. She looks mundane and hasn't done anything but get a degree so I really don't like it when they compare her to the great Princess Di who had done a lot of charity work because the only thing they have in common are some of their fashion sense.

To be honest I'm on the fence about her personally. And I don't buy into the hype of an upcoming engagement. Why can't William have a couple more girlfriends before he proposes?

My thoughts? It would be difficult to care less about the girlfriend of someone as absolutely irrelevant as Prince William.
When he actually achieves something of note in this world, wins a nobel prize, writes an important novel, discovers cold fusion, forms a media empire, writes great music, solves the problems of the Middle East or some other worthy accomplishment, ask me again. Until then, please ask questions of relevance to the people of the world.

I think she's OK.. she seems to be a nice girl.. althought I though Prince Will is too good looking for her... sorry!!
