money
EDIT:: Well, some may believe in the right to abortion, but most are probably in it for money. It's the reason why most people go into medicene nowadays.

You must all be very young, not to know how desperately women sought abortion back in the days before it was "legal" (it never was illegal, the procedure was suppressed and kept very quiet). Women risked their fertility and lives, and paid dearly to shady characters who hooked them up with--at best--a med student who set up in a hotel room for a day or two in order to pay his bills, a premium going to the shady character. it was all very hush-hush because prison sentences went along with PRACTICING MEDICINE WITHOUT A LICENSE, which is all it ever was. The reason the women did this is because their lives would be "ruined" if they had a child out of wedlock. Who would judge a pregnant young woman so harshly? Only the same people who now call abortion "murder for hire". Oh, isn't that a hoot? If it weren't for people like you, there probably wouldn't be so many abortions. Women would feel less guilty about using contraceptives, or might be more willing to carry to term and deliver a child to a couple desperately wanting to adopt, if you could only drop your judgmental attitude. THAT is what has been killing babies.

Science - we are told that babies are just a mass of cells and not worth anything! The drawings by Haeckel didn't help because although they have been shown as being false - they are still in text books so Drs think - oh well at so many weeks this foetus (notice the subtle missing out of the word baby) is only in the fish stage so who cares if we abort a 'fish' or it's in the salamander stage etc!
I'm sure as well the Pharmaceutical companies pay hefty bonuses to abortionists!
Pro-choice - whose choice - the woman had a choice (unless raped) before she conceived!

How about a better understanding than yours of women's health and social issues?
Why do anti-abortion protesters think it's ok to bomb a clinic, potentially taking other lives?
Why don't you ever stop to think that perhaps some of the women entering the clinic are not there for abortions, but for other gynecological care, discreet birth control, etc.?
Scenario: a woman has 3 kids. The last childbirth was difficult, and she nearly bled to death on the table. Pregnant again, and this time the father has gone missing. Should she risk giving birth again to spare the life of an unborn fetus who might not survive anyway? Or should she have an early-term abortion to minimize the risk to her own health so she'll still be around to care for her other children?
How long have you hated women, anyway?
How many children have you adopted?
How many pregnant women have you helped through charitable giving and personal support?
yeah. thought so. shut up.

You never know why someone is having an abortion and shouldn't judge. Despite ones opinions on the subject, it is still a legal procedure and a person should have the right to a safe abortion. I guess the doctors do this because of their desire for someone to be able to have a legal procedure done safely.

sorry hon, but it isn't murder for hire. It is legal. And it is not your or anyone else's right to tell a woman she has to carry a pregnancy to term. How come you are so worried about these fetuses when they are fetuses, but the minute they are born, you complain about welfare costs, bad parents, and children run amuk. What you should do, considering you want them born so badly, is to take them in once they are born to women who cannot or will not be mothers. Raise them, pay for them, and be responsible for them once they leave the wound. Otherwise, do not volunteer to tell a woman what she can and cannot do with her life. If you are male, you don't have a right to open your mouth. And if you are female, you should have the sense to know so many of these born will be unloved and uncared about.
Walk a mile in her shoes before you speak.

probably money most of the time. One here in there may actually believe in the statement he or she believes they are making. It is worth noting that a lot of them get out of it and have dreadful psychological issues afterward.

I am a nurse, and for the life of me, I cannot fathom doing an abortion. I won't even make the call to the clinic that does them. It makes me sick to think of all the babies that are killed everyday, as a method of "birth control", come on people, get responsible, and use birth control, and stop abortions. ~~~~

I'm sure that they would first of all have to be pro-choice.
Second, abortion is one of the highest income market in the US. Many women want abortions, and they want doctors who are willing do do it, and they're willing to pay for it.
Sucks, eh?
